At Detector Hobby, your satisfaction is our priority. All products we carry are backed by manufacturer warranties, ensuring that your purchase is both safe and reliable.
If you experience a technical issue or believe your product requires repair, please first contact the manufacturer directly or email us at detectorhobby1@gmail.com. To assist you quickly, we ask that you include a short video showing the problem so we can help troubleshoot or guide you to warranty service.
Manufacturer warranties vary by brand and model. For full details of coverage, please refer to the manufacturer’s website.
Damaged or Defective Products
If you receive an item that arrives damaged or defective, please notify us immediately at detectorhobby1@gmail.com to request an exchange. Products damaged in transit or defective due to manufacturer error are eligible for exchange under the following conditions:

You must request an exchange or store credit within 10 days of receiving your order.

All products must be returned in their original packaging with all manufacturer accessories, manuals, and promotional items included. Missing items will be charged at full MSRP.

Returns must be in the original unused condition as shipped. A 15% restocking fee will apply if the product is not returned in unused condition.

Customers are responsible for all shipping costs on returns, and items must be shipped with signature confirmation and insurance. Detector Hobby is not responsible for lost return shipments.

Please allow 7–14 business days after we receive your return for processing.
Refunds are issued as store credit, minus any applicable restocking fees.
Items Under $1,000 – 30-Day Returns
We want you to shop with confidence. If you purchase a product listed at under $1,000 and change your mind, we gladly accept returns within 30 days under the following conditions:

The product must be unused, new-in-box, and in original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and promotional items included.

Returns are eligible for a refund or exchange within 30 days of delivery.

A 15% restocking fee will be applied to any opened or used items.

Customers are responsible for all return shipping charges, including insurance and signature confirmation. Detector Hobby is not responsible for lost return shipments.

Please allow 7 business days from receipt of the return for processing.
We Cannot Accept Returns or Exchanges If:

The product shows damage not disclosed before return processing.

The return is requested due to operator error (incorrect setup, mishandling, misuse, air test “failures,” or failure to locate metals/treasure/water).

More than 10 days have passed for reporting damaged or defective products.

More than 30 days have passed for eligible items under $1,000.

We work hard to offer the lowest prices permitted by manufacturers. If you find a better price before you purchase, contact us at detectorhobby1@gmail.com. We will do our best to match or beat any competitor’s price.

Customers are responsible for paying all return shipping costs. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
For items over $75, we strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and/or purchasing shipping insurance. Detector Hobby cannot guarantee receipt of returned items without tracking.
